Tasting Room @ Home
Domaine Carneros is owned by Taittenger of Reims, France, and is of course best known for its excellent sparkling wines. They also produce pinot noir, chardonnay, merlot and - intriguingly, "pinot clair", which is a white pinot noir. I was last at the OTT French chateau-style Napa property in 2006, so I could certainly use a sample selection... though the LCBO would not stand for it and would at least double the cost if I did order it: all wines brought into Ontario are subject to levies equivalent to what they would have made for the LCBO had the LCBO added its mark-up and sold it.
