Great One's Father's Day
Wayne Gretzky has been producing his "No. 99" wines for a few years now and has recently opened his own winery in Vineland. A portion of the proceeds go to the Wayne Gretzky Foundation, which provides opportunities for less fortunate kids to play hockey and go to summer camp.
On Thursday June 11 from 4pm to 8pm, Walter Gretzky will be signing bottles of his son's Unoaked Chardonnay and Cabernet-Merlot at the LCBO Summerhill branch in Scrivener Square.
If your dad's a hockey fan, it's a great Father's Day gift idea. If he's likely to feel "funny" if you get him a bottle of chardonnay, there's always the cab-merlot.
