Robert Parker Fined & Sued!
No, the world's number one wine critic has not trashed a venerable chateau and ruined its sales... he's embroiled in an ugly dispute with a former associate.
The dispute has been going on for a while and RP has already had to shell out a fine, but a second lawsuit has now been accepted by a French court and the Parkster's going to have to defend himself against charges from a rather unpleasant-seeming character...
Hanna Agostini, who translated several of Parker's books into French and who published an unflattering biography of him last year, has charged him with "defamation".
